We use 22% carbamide peroxide gel. Our source is the same as used by the dentist - although dentist-provided kits and gel range in strength from 10% up and my own kit I purhcased from the dentist six years ago for $189 included only 15% whitening gel.

The commentor is right who noted that the secret is in the custom fit tray, which needs to be created by a well trained technition. While the clunkier "one-size-fits-all" and "boil-n-bite" trays can theoretically deliver the same whitening gel, the secret is having the tray fit so closely that the gel stays in direct and even contact with the teeth (and especially the spaces between teeth that tend to darken most) and that keep the gel away from the gums, where it can burn. Also, the more comfortable the tray the more consistent the whitening activity. So there's where the qualified sevice element lies.

Our Shine services are supervised by a licensed dentist and our lead technician has been a dental assistant for more than 18 years. So you are absolutely right - while it's fairly easy to white label teeth whitening services, quality is absolutely the key.

Aris comments on Zeltiq vs. Zerona

<created>2010-02-06T11:10:45Z</created><issued>2010-02-06T11:10:45Z</issued><modified>2010-02-06T11:10:45Z</modified>

Same logic behind every non-invasive fat melting device, so this is nothing innovative. It's a joke. Maybe I find it funny and it does get your attention. It would probably be a better marketing strategy for men, sense woman probably would rather you believe they get these boob jobs for self esteem and to fit into a top better, but realistically you can't deny that there is a sexual aspect to it whether you admit it to yourself or not, boobs attract men, and woman like attention, even if it's from the hubby or man at home. Tacky, maybe a little. Realistic way to see boob jobs, yes. I think if she put a bunch of men smiling ear to ear on that billboard, it would be truly realistic, but using the baby angle tames it down and takes the sexual aspect down a few notches, but again woman don't like it to be seen that way.

Just my 2 cents so don't kill me.

Leon L.

kimberly jones comments on LipoSonix: High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) for your medspas body scuplting.

<created>2010-02-04T22:03:47Z</created><issued>2010-02-04T22:03:47Z</issued><modified>2010-02-04T22:03:47Z</modified>

thanks medspaguy, appreciate your info. yes, excerise. despite not having had any inch loss or weight loss in the past from various bootcamp scenerios and hitting the gym 3X a week for weights and cardio, i've now been walking (fast) an hour a day for the last 3 weeks. nothing has happened yet, but oh well. i am a very food conscious vegetarian, eating very balanced meals with few processed foods, so its not my eating (i wish it was, that would be insanely easy to change!!)

again, most appreciated. the more i read up on this the more i'm thinking its not for me.
cheers.

med spa guy comments on LipoSonix: High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) for your medspas body scuplting.

<created>2010-02-04T20:26:27Z</created><issued>2010-02-04T20:26:27Z</issued><modified>2010-02-04T20:26:27Z</modified>

Kimberly: The Liposonix treatment is NOT like liposuction or laser lipolysis -- but rather a non-invasive ultrasound treatment (more like an "RF" treatment like Thermage). If you are 35 pounds overweight you will be wasting your money. Hit the gym and the streets -- aerobics, weights, ANYTHING to put your large muscel groups into play. Start with just 15 minutes per day (minimum) and gradually increase to a full hour per day. THIS is how to lose the 35 pounds. THEN you can consider something like Liposonix for small area refinement. PLUS start cutting down religiously on foods with empty calories, sugar, dietary fat, junk food, etc. This is a great time of year to get going on this -- with a four month goal of fitting into that hot swim suit.

SO MANY PEOPLE think liposuction and all these other methods are for losing lasrge amounts of body fat and they are not.
