Medical Spa MD: Resources for physicians in retail medicine.

IF YOU ARE ARE HERE ABOUT A MEDICAL CONDITION OR TREATMENT:

Please do not ask specific medical questions: The physicians on this site can't tell you what you should do or what would be best for you. That's a medical diagnosis, not a comment. This is not a site for patients to bitch about their dotors or ask specific medical questions. There are plenty of forums out there to complain about physicians and/or treatments.

Medspa MD has built a great community. You don't have to be an expert to comment or ask a question. In fact, it's often questions that bring out the best from the experts. Here are some do's and don'ts:

Don't:

  • Don't spam or flame others. Your comments will be deleted and your IP address will be blocked.

Do's:

If you're asking a question:

  • Make it very specific: Don't ask "what IPL should I buy?" Questions like that aren't worth the answers they generate and let everyone know that you haven't even read this post.
  • Ask an intelligent question that's not in all-caps, run spell-check, show a little respect for the people who you're asking to respond, and you'll receive helpful advice from people who really know what they're doing. When your asking for someone to take the time to share information with you, it's the least you can do.
If you're commenting:

  • You can't spam or flame either.
  • Identify yourself in some way: Anonymous comments are not very credible. If you don't want to be completely identified, at least give some idea of your background or expertise.
